Recycling Questions?

Waukesha County recycling staff will have a table at the Delafield Public Library on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 4:30-6:30 PM to answer your recycling questions and distribute free recycling bins. Recycling bins are also available free to County residents at City Hall during our regular office hours.

Street Signs for Sale
Public Works crews recently replaced many street name signs throughout the City to comply with federal standards related to the retroreflectivity, text size and text format of the signs. The old signs will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis at a cost of $15 each. Residents interested in purchasing signs will be required to go to City Hall to pay for the sign(s) and then go to the Public Works Department to pick up their sign(s). Not all street names are available, and those that are available are in limited quantities. These signs are intended for novelty purposes only and will not be permitted to be installed within the street right-of-way or adjacent to any public road. Please call the Clerk's Office at (262) 646-6220 to see if the street name sign you are interested in is available.

Tax Bills

Real estate and property tax bills were mailed out the week of December 12, 2011. Tax bill information and online payment options are available at Waukesha County's website. Click here for further information.

2012 Household Hazardous Waste Collection

The 2012 household hazardous waste collection schedule is now available. The Delafield event will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from

8 a.m. until noon at the City Department of Public Works, 111 Main Street.

Water Testing

The Waukesha County Division of Environmental Health encourages private well owners to test wells annually or after modifying them in any way. Wells should also be tested when any change in taste, odor or appearance is noticed. Test kits are available at City Hall free of charge. Click here for further information.
