Lake
Patrol
The Lake Patrol encourages all who enjoy fishing,
power boating, sailing, water skiing and canoeing
to attend a Boating Safety course. The Lake
Patrol Officers hold classes each year in
early Spring. The courses are designed for
children between the ages of 12-16 who want
to operate a power boat in the State of Wisconsin.
Upon passing the course, the children will
receive a boating safety certificate which
will allow them to operate a powerboat without
parental supervision. Parents are also encouraged
to sit in on the classes. For more information
on these classes or to sign up for an upcoming
class, please contact the City of Delafield
Police Department (262)646-6240 from 8:00
am-5:00 pm Monday thru Friday.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Lake Patrol requests all who use the lake
to review the Department of Natural Resources
Boating Safety Regulations, along with the
City of Delafield Regulations, which are posted
at the Bleeker Street and Nagawaukee Park
boat launches. You may also stop by the City
of Delafield Police Department to pick up
