Reminder: It’s Illegal to take recyclables from curbside bins

People have been observed taking aluminum cans from recycling bins
left at the curb in several communities around the County. This is not legal.

Once recyclables are set out at the curb, they become the property of the recycling program. People who take cans out of recycling bins are stealing
and may be subject to fines.

If you see this happening, get a license number or description of the person
and call your local police. Revenues from recycling help keep our taxes lower.
