The City of Delafield Fire Department is contracted from Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital to do all their Advanced Life Support Transports out of OMH to any other hospital in southeastern Wisconsin. Patients may be in need of an ALS transport due to services that may not be available at OMH, patient preference or doctor preference. These transfers to vary from extremely critical to non-critical patients. ALS transfers are staffed with a minimum of two Paramedics and a driver, sometimes more depending on the status of the patient.
