CALENDAR YEAR ABSENTEE BALLOTS

Don’t want to stand in line on Election Day? Sign up to have an Absentee Ballot sent to you! To have an Absentee Ballot sent to you, you must be a registered voter in the City of Delafield. If you are not sure if you are registered, please call the Clerk’s Office at 262-646-6220. If you are a registered voter, complete, sign and mail (or drop off) the Absentee Ballot application (found on the City’s website) at City Hall. Once your application has been verified, you will be sent an Absentee Ballot for the remainder of 2008’s elections. In December 2008, the Clerk’s Office will send you a letter asking if you want to renew your calendar year Absentee Ballot application for 2009. If you want to continue receiving Absentee Ballots, you would fill out another form. That process will continue until you tell us that you no longer wish to receive Absentee Ballots.

PERMANENT VOTER ABSENTEE BALLOTS

If you are indefinitely confined because of age, illness, infirmity or disability, you may request a Permanent Absentee Ballot be sent to you for every subsequent election until you are no longer confined or fail to return a ballot for an election. To have an Absentee Ballot sent to you, you must be a registered voter in the City of Delafield. If you are not sure if you are registered, please call the Clerk’s Office at 262-646-6220. If you are a registered voter, complete, sign and mail the Absentee Ballot application (found on the City’s website or call to have one mailed to you) to City Hall. Once your application has been verified, you will be sent an Absentee Ballot for each of the elections, one election at a time. Please note, if you qualify to be a Permanent Voter, please indicate by filling in the 2nd circle on section 5 of the application, write “PERMANENT VOTER” on the top of the form.
