Mission Statement:
The Office of the City Clerk will provide quality services to the City Council, City staff, general public, candidates, voters and media with cost-effective administration and the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
The Clerk-Treasurer’s Office is the oldest among public servants and is a time-honored and vital part of local government, providing a professional link between the citizens, the local governing bodies and agencies of government at other levels. The Clerk-Treasurer’s Office strives to deliver the best possible service to the residents, Common Council, and to the staff of the City of Delafield, while carrying out the duties and responsibilities required by Wisconsin State Statutes, Ordinances and Resolutions. The Clerk-Treasurer’s Office is ready to serve you with information about: Elections, Voter Registration, Licensing, Common Council, Ordinances, Resolutions, Boards, Committees, Commissions, the City's website, general information about City programs and services.
In Delafield, the positions of Municipal Clerk and Treasurer are combined. The Clerk-Treasurer's office is customer-service oriented and available to assist you during regular office hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday at City Hall, 500 Genesee Street, Delafield, WI 53018.
