Taxes

The first half of your real estate tax payment is due by January 31st of each year. Taxes may be paid at any Town Bank location or at the Waukesha County Treasurer's Office. The second half of your real estate tax payment is due by July 31st of each year at the Waukesha County Treasurer's Office. Payments may be left at City Hall, but no receipts will be issued from this location.

Budgeting

The City conducts its budgeting in the fall of each year, normally approving a budget for the next fiscal year (January-December) by November of the preceding year. Current (2007) tax rates for the City are as follows: Kettle Moraine School District $14.37/$1000 of assessed value; Lake Country/Arrowhead School District $15.23/$1000 of assessed value; Oconomowoc School District $13.43/$1000 of assessed value.

Volunteering

There are many opportunities for volunteering in the City of Delafield. If you wish to serve as a member of a committee for the city, please complete the Application for Appointment form and draft a letter indicating your area of interest to the mayor. All appointments are made by the mayor with the approval of the Council. The City encourages any and all interested citizens to become involved.

Running for Elected Office

Those individuals interested in running for elected office should contact the City Clerk's office.
