DEADLINES
Applications are to be submitted to the Clerk’s Office by the following deadlines: 

Regular applications are due 15 days prior to the next regularly scheduled Plan Commission meeting. 

Public Hearing applications are due 28 days prior to the next regularly scheduled Plan Commission meeting.

  1. Business Plans of Operation
Business Plans of Operation are required when opening a new business in the City of Delafield or if you are relocating within the City or having a temporary event for your business.  Please download the New Business Application Information Form.  This packet will answer all of your questions regarding starting a business.  It includes information about Liquor Licenses as well.

Applicants with conceptual proposals are required to meet with City Planner Roger Dupler before applying to be on the Plan Commission.  He will review your proposal and inform you if you need a Plan Staff meeting.  A Plan Staff meeting is an informal meeting with the Mayor, Engineer, Planner, Attorney, Administrator, Building Inspector and Fire Department in which each department reviews your proposal and helps prepare you for the Plan Commission meeting.  These meetings are by appointment only on Wednesday mornings.

Site Plan & Appearance reviews are required when an applicant requests to change building color and/or structure, requires grading and/or landscaping which is outside of the zoning code.
